Two things it cannot know, and they pull in opposite directions. Signals diffract over ridges, so real reach extends past the drawn edge. But the terrain model carries no trees or buildings, so in forest the drawn area is optimistic — usually the larger error in Swedish terrain. Read the shape of the coverage rather than its exact boundary.
